David is a technology executive in the software industry with over 20 years of experience in management and technology consulting.   He has the experience and expertise to translate complex technology into business concepts and apply practical technical solutions enabling business productivity and revenue generation.  He has worked with early and mid-stage start-ups, Fortune 500 companies; and international clients such as Australian Government, IAG of Australia, and Hong Kong Immigration.  David works with corporations to improve their business processes by understanding the business requirement and implementing the best fit and best in class technical solution.  He was most recently the CTO/VP Engineering at Insights OnDemand, where he was responsible for building the on demand SaaS based Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse/Analytics solution with a focus on CRM and HR. Prior to Insights OnDemand, he has served as Vice President of Technology at Catapulse where he led the first inception of Software as a Service model in delivering software development lifecycle tools in a highly secured and private Internet environment for Wall street financial clients.  His corporate experience also includes technology leadership roles at IBM/Rational, and Oracle where he built the first distributed database network layer.  David is the founder and CEO of Meyer Technology Group, a consulting company that has worked with a wide array of start-ups providing expertise in web/SaaS based solutions, mobile application, business intelligence, data warehouse, analytics and reporting; with special emphasis in data privacy and security.  David has worked with the US State Department on security and privacy issues, and actively consulted for senior HR management teams on data privacy, HIPPA,  compliance and providing relevant solutions.

David is an avid outdoors man with certifications from Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) for both Alpine and Telemark.  His passion is creating and building start-ups; and generating outdoor enthusiasm and awareness with his two kids.
